What is a surface box and when should it be used?
The surface box is the mounting element that allows installing a Tegui video door entry panel directly on the wall, without the need for recessing or construction work. Unlike the box with visor, this model does not include upper protection against rain, making it ideal for indoor installations, under porches, or in weather-protected areas.
Available in 1, 2, and 3 modules in a 1-column format, it adapts to any Tegui panel configuration.

💡 Quick rule: if the panel is exposed to direct rain, choose the box with visor. If it is under a porch, indoors, or in a covered area, the surface box is sufficient and more economical.
