Three essential details before choosing a kit
- Do you want audio only or video as well?
- How many dwellings and entrances does it need to serve?
- Are you going to replace the entire system or keep existing equipment?
With this information, we can guide your choice and then check the installation, wiring, and functions you need. There’s no recommended part number based solely on the number of dwellings.
Complete renovation or partial replacement
For a partial replacement or extension, compatibility with the components being retained must be checked. For a complete renovation, the old system does not already need to be BUS SCS to consider a new 2-wire solution; the installer must review the design and whether the existing wiring can be reused. Reuse is not guaranteed just because there are two wires.
