Electric Door Releases and Accessories for Door Entry Systems

Electric door strikes and door accessories for maintaining and installing automatic door entry systems. Find the reference you need and check its requirements before choosing a replacement part.

Checks for the Installer

• Exact reference and operating type of the door strike.
• Required power supply: voltage, AC or DC, and power consumption.
• Dimensions, mounting points, and mechanical fit with the door.
• Product details: distinguish a complete electric door release from a faceplate or door contact.

Will Any Electric Door Release Work with My Door Entry System?

Do not assume compatibility based on the brand of the door entry system or voltage alone. Check the electrical and mechanical requirements of the reference and the door release system.

Does a Buzzer Open the Door?

No. A buzzer is an audible signaling device, not an electric door strike.

How Do I Choose a Replacement?

The installer must check the reference, operation, and measurements against the equipment documentation. Do not use commercial abbreviations as the sole basis for determining voltage or operation.
