Audio units for Tegui and BTicino intercom systems

The audio unit is the brain of the intercom system: the central component that manages and distributes calls from the street panel to the indoor phones of each residence. Choosing the right one is essential for the proper functioning of the entire installation.

What is an audio unit and what is it for?

The audio unit receives the call signal from the street panel and directs it to the corresponding apartment, also managing audio communication (and video in video intercom systems) between both points. In buildings with multiple residences, it coordinates all simultaneous calls.

Which audio unit do I need?

It depends on the type of system and the number of residences:

• Series 074xxx — Digital audio unit S-100 for high-capacity digital systems
• Series 090xxx — EGF-20, EGF-21, EGF-22, EGF-30, EGF-35, EGF-36, EGF-100M and TEGUIBUS-2 Digital for conventional and digital installations
• Series 0E55xx — EGF-1, EMS-1/EMS-2 cassettes and busy module for classic systems
• Series 351xxx / 375xxx / 376xxx — BTicino and Tegui audio units for 2-wire systems: conventional, TEGUIBUS with network, multiple access, and building digital
