The Tegui BTicino Classe 100X16E WiFi monitor (Ref. 344786) lets you see and talk to whoever is at your door from anywhere using your smartphone. In this guide, we explain how to set up the WiFi connection and the app in just a few minutes.
What you need
- Tegui Classe 100X16E WiFi monitor (Ref. 344786) installed and working
- Home WiFi network with password
- iOS or Android smartphone
- Door Entry by BTicino app (free)
Step 1: Download the app
Download the official Door Entry by BTicino app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). It’s free and requires no subscription.
Step 2: Create an account
Open the app and sign up with your email. Confirm your account from the email you receive and return to the app.
Step 3: Connect the monitor to WiFi
On the monitor, go to the settings menu (gear icon) and select WiFi Network. Choose your home network and enter the password. The monitor will confirm the connection with a WiFi icon on the screen.
Step 4: Link the monitor with the app
In the app, select "Add device" and follow the setup wizard. The app will automatically detect the monitor on your WiFi network. Assign a name (e.g., "Home") and confirm.
Step 5: Test the connection
Ask someone to press the button on the outdoor panel. You should receive a notification on your phone with the camera image. From the app you can:
- 📹 See live who is at the door
- 🗣️ Talk to the visitor
- 🔑 Open the door remotely
- 📝 Check the history of missed calls

Yes, as long as the monitor is connected to WiFi and your phone has internet access (WiFi or data).

Yes, you can install the app on multiple devices with the same account and all will receive notifications.
Is it compatible with the existing 2-wire system?
Yes, the Classe 100X16E WiFi works with the 2-wire BUS SCS system from Tegui/BTicino. You don’t need to change the wiring.
