Tegui BTicino 2-wire system installation components
To obtain the maximum performance from the Tegui 2-wire video door entry system, it is essential to use the correct installation components: the right cable, address configurators for each dwelling, BUS termination accessories and, when required, the video surveillance interface for separate cameras.
1. Installation Cable — Ref. 336904
Tegui recommends using its specific cable for the 2-wire system to achieve the maximum distances between entrance panels and internal units compared with other cables on the market.

Technical note: Using cable 336904 makes it possible to achieve the maximum distances specified in the 2-wire system installation tables. With cables of smaller cross-section or lower quality, the maximum distances are significantly reduced.
2. Address Configurators
Configurators are the elements that assign a unique address to each dwelling within the 2-wire system. Each internal monitor requires a configurator with its dwelling number so that it receives only the calls intended for it.

How do configurators work? Each dwelling is identified by a combination of digits (e.g., dwelling 12 = configurator 1 + configurator 2). They are physically inserted into the connector on the internal monitor. The 2-wire system supports up to 100 different addresses.

The 347400 is a coaxial-to-2-wire BUS video signal converter interface for 12 Vdc cameras. It allows you to:

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Is it mandatory to use 336904 cable in the Tegui 2-wire system?
It is not mandatory, but highly recommended. The 336904 cable (2 twisted 0.6 mm² conductors) allows the maximum distances specified by Tegui to be achieved. With smaller-gauge cables, the maximum distances between the entrance panel and monitor are considerably reduced.
How is the address assigned to each home using the configurators?
Each home is identified by a combination of digits physically inserted into the monitor connector. For example, home 1A may have address “11” (configurator 1 + configurator 1), 1B “12”, and so on. The 388085 kit includes the quantities required for up to 20 homes.
When is the 3499 line terminator required?
The 3499 terminator must be installed at the end of each BUS segment that terminates at an indoor unit or accessory that does not have a DIN termination microswitch. Without the terminator, the BUS may experience signal problems and erratic operation.
What is the 347400 interface used for?
It allows you to add an additional camera (a surveillance camera with coaxial output) to the 2-wire system, making it accessible from the indoor monitors. Useful for monitoring garages, gardens or secondary entrances without installing a complete entrance panel.
