It is the most common setup in medium-sized residential buildings (8 floors, 2 apartments per floor) and serves as a basis for more complex installations such as 2 panels and 16 apartments or 32 apartments on 2 risers.
Installation Structure
- 1 outdoor panel (Sfera New or Línea 3000) connected to the main BUS.
- 16 indoor units distributed across 8 floors (2 apartments per floor).
- 3 floor splitters 346841, one for each group of 4 apartments (floors 1-4 and 5-8, plus the main splitter).
- 1 main power supply sized for the total number of units.

The BTicino Floor Splitter 346841 (€40.57) branches the 2-wire BUS to the apartments on each floor. This diagram includes 3 units, distributing the signal in groups of up to 4 apartments each.
It is essential to configure the jumpers with the system POWER OFF. After configuration, restore power and wait approximately 1 minute for the system to stabilize.
System Power Supplies
For an installation with 16 indoor units, compatible power supplies are:

Check the power supply datasheet to verify the maximum capacity according to cable length.
Technical Installation Notes
- ⚠️ Always configure with the system POWER OFF. After configuration, cut and restore power; the system needs about 1 minute to stabilize.
- The optional actuator allows controlling additional functions: stairway lights, electric locks, various activations.
- For the outdoor panel, you can use either Sfera New panels (as the main panel) or Línea 5000 panels (as secondary).
- The configuration micro-switch is located on the back of the video intercom or door station; it terminates the line where it is placed.
- Within the same apartment, it is possible to install monitors in a MASTER-SLAVE configuration: when a call is received, the MASTER turns on and rings while the SLAVE only rings; when answering from the SLAVE, the MASTER turns off and the SLAVE’s monitor activates.

Yes, as long as it is compatible with the 2-wire BUS SCS system. The Sfera New and Línea 3000 panels are the most common as main panels in this type of installation.
