BTicino Tegui Wiring Diagrams: 2 Panels and 16 Indoor Units With and Without Concierge Control Unit

Esquemas de conexionado BTicino Tegui 2 hilos – 2 placas exteriores y 16 unidades interiores con y sin central de conserjería

In this technical guide, we explain two of the most common wiring diagrams for BTicino / Tegui video intercom installations with a 2-wire BUS SCS system: an installation with 2 outdoor panels and 16 indoor units, and the same installation including a concierge control center.

These diagrams correspond to Examples 3 and 4 from the official BTicino/Tegui technical documentation and are applicable to medium-sized residential buildings.

Main system components

Floor Distributor (Ref. 346841)

The key element repeated in both diagrams is the BTicino Floor Distributor 346841 (€40.57). This device distributes the 2-wire BUS signal to the different apartments on each floor, allowing multiple indoor units to be connected from a single main line.

In an installation with 16 apartments spread across floors, 4 floor distributors are used (one for each group of 4 apartments), as shown in the diagrams.

2-wire system power supplies

The system requires appropriate power supply depending on the number of connected units:

Example 3: 2 Outdoor Panels and 16 Indoor Units

This diagram represents a typical residential building installation with:

  • 2 outdoor panels (main entrance + secondary entrance or garage), compatible with Sfera New or Línea 3000 panels as the main panel, and Línea 5000 as the secondary.
  • 16 indoor units distributed over 8 floors (2 apartments per floor).
  • 4 floor distributors 346841, one for each group of 4 apartments.

Important technical notes

  • ⚠️ Configure and insert the jumpers with the system POWER OFF. After configuration, cut and restore power; the system takes approximately 1 minute to stabilize.
  • The optional actuator allows control of additional functions: stairway lights, locks, various activations.
  • For the outdoor panel, Sfera New panels can be used interchangeably as the main panel and the Línea 5000 panel as secondary.
  • In the same apartment, Classe 100, Classe 300EOS with Notakey, and Classe 300X monitors can be installed in MASTER-SLAVE mode: when a call arrives, the MASTER turns on and rings while the SLAVE only rings; when answering from the SLAVE, the MASTER turns off and the SLAVE monitor turns on.

Example 4: 1 Outdoor Panel and 16 Indoor Units with Concierge Control Center

This diagram adds a concierge control center to the system, allowing the concierge to receive calls, communicate with apartments, and manage access from a centralized point. The apartment distribution is identical to Example 3 (16 units over 8 floors), but with a single main outdoor panel.

Differences compared to Example 3

  • Only 1 outdoor panel is used instead of 2.
  • A concierge unit connected to the main BUS is incorporated.
  • Jumper configuration and MASTER-SLAVE logic remain the same.

Compatible indoor units

Both diagrams are compatible with the following indoor units available in our store:
