When Do You Need an Additional Monitor?
An additional monitor is the ideal solution when you want to see and answer video intercom calls from more than one point in the home. Unlike a simple additional phone, the monitor allows you to view the outdoor camera and open the door from any room where it is installed.
Prerequisites
- Tegui video intercom system with main monitor installed and working
- 2-wire cabling in good condition
- Physical space to install the additional monitor
- Compatible additional monitor kit (for example, EasyKit 367910)
Recommended Additional Monitor: EasyKit 367910
The Tegui EasyKit 367910 is the kit specifically designed to add a secondary monitor to an existing installation. It connects in parallel with the main monitor and allows you to see the camera and open the door from the new installation point.
Alternative: Monitor M-72 color (374465)
If you are looking for a high-quality color screen monitor as a second terminal, the Monitor M-72 dig. color double call Tegui 374465 is an excellent option, compatible with 2-wire installations.

Steps to Install the Additional Monitor
- Choose the location of the additional monitor (room, hallway, upper floor...)
- Run the cabling from the main monitor to the new location (if it does not exist)
- Connect the additional monitor in parallel with the main monitor following the installation diagram
- Check the operation: both monitors should receive the call and be able to open the door
- Set the preferences of each monitor if the system allows it
Important Considerations
- The maximum number of monitors in parallel depends on the model and the system's power supply
- In 2-wire installations, consult the technical documentation to know the terminal limit
- We always recommend installation by a qualified professional technician
