The Linea 5000 is compatible with your entire existing installation
One of the great advantages of the BTicino/Tegui Linea 5000 is its full compatibility with the range of 2-wire BUS SCS monitors and video door phones already installed. This means you can upgrade a building’s door panel without needing to replace the indoor monitors or redo the existing wiring.
Compatibility with Classe 100 monitors
The Linea 5000 is fully compatible with the entire Classe 100 family:
- Classe 100V16B (BTicino 344652) — 5" hands-free monitor
- Classe 100X16E (BTicino 344786) — WiFi monitor with Netatmo app
- Classe 100A16E (BTicino 344282) — hands-free telephone
- Classe 100V16B 5" Screen (BTicino 374511) — compact version
The Linea 5000’s HQ digital video signal is transmitted to the video door phones using PAL encoding with 2-wire SCS BUS technology, ensuring high-quality images on all compatible monitors.
Compatibility with Classe 300EOS monitors
The Linea 5000 is also compatible with the Classe 300EOS range, including the with Netatmo version with built-in Alexa. This allows offering the end customer a complete premium experience: next-generation door panel + smart monitor with voice control and mobile app.
Compatible power supplies
The Linea 5000 installation uses the same power supplies as the BTicino 2-wire system:
- Power supply with Classe 100 video adapter (BTicino 346050) — for installations with Classe 100 monitors
- 2-wire audio power supply (BTicino 346040) — for audio-only installations
- Floor splitter (BTicino 346841) — for multi-floor buildings
Step-by-step installation options
Installing the Linea 5000 follows the same rules as any BTicino 2-wire door panel:
- Planning with HOME + PROJECT: design the installation digitally before starting work, defining the number of apartments, floors, and required modules.
- Box mounting: flush-mounted (with standard or vandal-proof box) or surface-mounted (with surface box and integrated rainproof frame).
- Connection to the 2-wire bus: same topology as any existing SCS installation.
- Configuration with HOME + PROJECT: the app automatically recognizes devices and allows configuring the apartment directory, access codes, and image settings.
- Remote updates: any later changes (new residents, image adjustments) can be made remotely or on-site via Bluetooth.
