The simplest solution for all types of installations
The BTicino/Tegui 2-wire system is easy to use. Thanks to the non-polarized 2-wire cabling in each part of the installation, the connection is simple, fast, and fail-safe. Additionally, the ability to use existing cables makes it the ideal solution for refurbishments and renovations of old installations.
High performance: impressive figures
The 2-wire technology allows any type of installation with the same ease, from a single-family home to large residential projects. The system limits are:
- 3,900 homes per installation
- 3,900 video door panels
- 5 monitors or phones per home
- 96 video door panels in standard configuration
- 39 risers with signal
- 600 meters distance from the panel to the last monitor or phone (with BTicino 336904 cable)
These figures make the 2-wire system a valid solution for practically any residential project, no matter how large.
Maximum versatility: from basic to advanced
The 2-wire system is designed to guarantee a high degree of versatility and adapt to the demands of all customers. It offers a wide range of panels, monitors, and phones to meet any need:
- Basic functions: door opening, call, and audio/video communication
- Concierge station: for centralized management and supervision in buildings with staff
- MyHOME home automation integration: integrated home control with the video door system
- Aesthetic integration with BTicino mechanism series (Living Now, Axolute, Living Light...)
Moreover, the 2-wire technology allows having an audio system already prepared to incorporate video later, without needing to redo the wiring.
Integration with IP technology: the leap to large projects
The 2-wire and IP technologies can be integrated for large projects. IP technology allows, through a dedicated and exclusive LAN network, to offer maximum performance:
- Long distances: up to 10 km from the panel to the last monitor
- Multichannel: up to 5 simultaneous calls in the IP system
- 1,000 video door panels in IP configuration
- 10,000 monitors or phones
- 100 IP devices
- Concierge software switchboard, alarm reception and centralization
The IP/2-wire interface allows connecting both worlds, leveraging the existing 2-wire infrastructure and expanding it with the capabilities of the IP system when the project requires it.
