The BTicino/Tegui 2-Wire BUS SCS system is the benchmark solution for intercom and video intercom installations in residential buildings. Installation Composition
The 2-wire installation, besides the panels, monitors, and phones, requires very few additional components:
Intercom Installation (Audio)
The simplest configuration consists of:
- Door panel (Sfera New, Sfera Robur, or Linea 5000)
- Power supply (BTicino 346040) — the only power element needed
- Hands-free phones in each dwelling (Series 8, Classe 100A...)
The 2-wire bus connects all components in parallel, without polarity, which greatly simplifies wiring and reduces installation errors.
Video Intercom Installation (Audio + Video)
To add video, simply replace the audio power supply with the power supply with video adapter (BTicino 346050) and replace the phones with monitors:
- Door panel with camera module (Sfera New, Sfera Robur, or Linea 5000)
- Power supply with Classe 100 video adapter (BTicino 346050)
- Hands-free monitors in each dwelling (Classe 100, Classe 100X, Classe 300...)
Advanced Functions of the 2-Wire System
Thanks to the use of complementary devices, the 2-wire system goes far beyond simple door opening:
- Control of additional locks and stairway lighting via relay actuators
