Tegui 379515 Kit: guide, installation, and differences from 379511 and 379516

The Tegui 379515 video door entry kit is a 2-wire solution for a home consisting of a Sfera New modular entrance panel with a wide-angle HQ camera and a Classe 100V16E monitor, reference 374521, hands-free and with a 5-inch color screen.

Its difference from the 379511 is not Wi-Fi: neither of these two kits includes a connected monitor. The 379515 stands out for the features of the Classe 100V16E, which includes teleloop and four configurable touch buttons. If you need smartphone functions, the 379516 with Classe 100X16E should be considered.

In this guide, we explain the composition, installation, configuration, expansions, and criteria for choosing between the three kits, without assuming compatibility with an older installation.

The composition is documented on page 90 of the Tegui 2026 catalog and in the store's current product sheet. That page identifies the item as 379515, although the composition table retains the heading 379115. For any variation in supply, confirm the composition with Tegui Distel.

What should not be assumed to be included

Do not assume that wiring, an electric lock, labor, a surface-mount box, a rain hood, or additional indoor units are included. The included flush-mounting box is not equivalent to a surface-mount accessory.

Classe 100V16E: functions and controls

The monitor has two physical buttons for answering and ending communication, plus touch controls for unlocking the door, activating the entrance panel, cycling through camera views, and other functions.

The four configurable buttons allow actions such as intercom communication, an additional lock, and general activations, always depending on the devices installed and the configuration. Installing the monitor alone is not enough to provide every auxiliary function.

Teleloop: a relevant difference

Teleloop is part of the documented features of the Classe 100V16E. If you choose the equipment for a specific hearing-related need, check compatibility and use with the corresponding hearing aid device with the installer or supplier. It should not be understood as automatic compatibility with any hearing aid.

Is it a touchscreen?

The documentation describes an LCD screen and capacitive keys. It does not present the screen as a navigation touch interface. It is important to distinguish touch buttons from a touchscreen.

Image and sound settings

The side joystick allows you to adjust color, brightness, contrast, audio volume, and ringtone volume. There is also an indication that the ringtone has been deactivated. Before considering the installation complete, it is advisable to review the settings with the person who will use the monitor.

Does it have Wi-Fi or a mobile app?

No. 379515 includes Classe 100V16E, not Classe 100X16E. It must not be attributed with Home + Security, smartphone unlocking, or connected functions specific to the X model.

Nor should conversion to Wi-Fi by means of an accessory be assumed. If you need connectivity, consider a documented solution with a connected monitor and verify the complete installation.

When to consider 379511

When you need video, hands-free operation, and use from the indoor station, without Wi-Fi or the specific features of the V16E. Selection should consider functions and the project, not just the similarity of the entrance panel.

When to consider 379515

When you want local use without Wi-Fi and are interested in the teleloop or the capabilities of the Classe 100V16E's four configurable controls.

When to consider 379516

When you need a connected monitor and Home + Security functions. X16E connectivity does not replace BUS wiring or eliminate the need to configure the system.

Sfera New HQ entrance panel and mounting choice

The included Sfera New modular entrance panel is intended for flush-mount installation and has a wide-angle HQ camera. Before preparing the recess, check the call position, obstacles, lighting, and area to be viewed.

If you need a surface-mount frame or additional protection against rain, select specific accessories for the assembly, number of modules, and finish. Do not assume that accessories from an old entrance panel or Línea 3000 will be suitable.

N-P-M configuration of monitor 374521

The technical data sheet indicates the physical configuration of the equipment. The configurators determine the apartment identification, associated entrance panel, and function mode.

Mounting What the data sheet describes
N Identification number of the indoor unit
P Associated entrance panel for activation and lock at rest
M Operating mode of the four programmable buttons and special functions

There is no universal combination for all homes. The installer must use the appropriate diagram and the document's complete table of operating modes, rather than copying values from another device without checking them.

Master/Slave, end of line, and additional power supply

The rear view identifies the Slave/Master selector, end-of-line termination, additional power supply enablement, and the corresponding terminals. These elements must be configured according to the topology and project. Their presence does not mean that all installations need an additional power supply or that any power source can be connected.

Secure lock and professional studio

The documentation covers the secure lock and professional studio function. The latter may automatically unlock the associated lock when a call is received, depending on the configuration. It must not be activated or assumed to be active without assessing this behavior and the user's needs.

The document indicates activating the secure lock with the equipment unpowered. Consult the instructions and full effects before modifying it.

Installation: recommended work sequence

  1. Define the project. One residence, units, access points, and desired functions.
  2. Document what already exists. Record references, connections, and configurators before dismantling.
  3. Check the wiring and power supply. Compare the routes, distances, and devices with the system rules.
  4. Prepare the outdoor installation. Confirm the box, position, and framing before recessing it.
  5. Install and configure. Use the installation diagram and the instructions for each component.
  6. Test all intended functions. Call, video, conversation, unlocking, and intercom if applicable.
  7. Provide the record. Keep the documentation and explain the settings and functions to the user.

Electrical connections and configuration must be carried out by qualified professionals following the manufacturer's safety measures.

What is the maximum supported distance?

We do not offer a universal limit without knowing the cable type, topology, power supply, and equipment. The project must be checked against the manufacturer's tables for the specific installation.

Expansions: do not confuse the kit with the connection scenario

The 2026 catalog describes the kit for up to 5 internal audio or video units, 2 entrance panels, or one additional camera, as well as standard intercom functions.

The monitor's data sheet also details a scenario with handsets connected in parallel: homes without a 346850 interface, a maximum of three units in that configuration, and the same configurator N. Both data points refer to different conditions and are not interchangeable limits.

To expand the system, the diagram must be defined and the required components and power supply checked. Do not interpret the kit's general capacity as permission to connect five monitors directly to the same point.

Second handset on another floor

Audio or video can be considered according to the need. Check the cable route, power supply, identification, and configuration of the handsets. A second handset in the same home is not equivalent to a kit for two independent homes.

Second access and auxiliary functions

Define which entrance panel calls, which lock corresponds to it, and which control activates each function. The ability to configure a button does not automatically include the necessary actuators.

Compatibility with an old installation

Two visible wires do not prove compatibility. The technology, entrance panel, power supply, and handsets must be identified. A matching brand also does not guarantee direct replacement.

Send us the references of the current equipment, photographs of the connections and configurators obtained safely, the number of homes and handsets, and an explanation of what you want to keep. With this information, we can assess a complete kit or a partial replacement.

Can I change only the monitor?

This is a different project from installing the complete 379515. The compatibility of the 374521 with the existing system, power supply, and functions must be checked. Do not transfer configurator settings based on similarities between models.

Practical cases

New home without the need for a mobile app

The kit allows for a hands-free indoor monitor with a recessed Sfera New. Plan the location, wiring, lock, and accessories before carrying out any building work.

User who needs to assess teleloop

Check the usage requirements and the compatibility of the hearing assistance device before choosing. The presence of a teleloop is relevant, but it does not replace a test or verification of the specific case.

Renovation with future extensions

Inform us from the outset if you anticipate another handset or access point. Planning cable routes and the diagram prevents you from buying extensions without checking the complete system.

Common problems and initial checks

Symptom What to check What not to assume
It does not ring Ringer deactivation, settings, and addressing That the monitor is faulty without checking the configuration
There is video but no call Diagram, handset address, and entrance panel That simply changing wires at random is sufficient
An auxiliary button does not work M mode and existing auxiliary devices That all actions are available by default
Opens automatically when called If the professional studio function is configured That this behavior always indicates a fault
An added station does not work Diagram, power supply, configuration, and end-of-line termination That the expansion works simply because it shares the same brand

These checks help guide the review but do not constitute a definitive diagnosis. To request assistance, describe the symptom and what has been installed or modified.
